Can a plus-size bride wear a corseted bridal lehenga?
Absolutely. Corseted lehengas are one of the most flattering silhouettes for curvier brides — internal boning, panelled construction and padded support sculpt the waist while lifting and shaping the bust without compression. Our brides find them more comfortable than unstructured choli blouses for long ceremonies.
How is plus-size bridal stitching different at Le Wraps?
We do not scale-up smaller patterns. Each bodice is hand-drafted from your unique measurements, with bespoke bra construction, considered dart placement and fabric stress-tested for movement, dance and 8+ hour wear. Lehenga skirts use 12–24 panelled kalis for graceful fall.
How much does a plus-size bridal lehenga cost in Delhi?
Plus-size bespoke bridal lehengas at Le Wraps follow the same pricing as our standard tiers — designer wedding from ₹75,000, bespoke bridal from ₹1,50,000, heirloom couture from ₹3,50,000+. There is no plus-size surcharge — only the embroidery and fabric costs that apply to every bride.
How many fittings does a curvier bride need?
Plan for 4–6 fittings instead of the standard 3–4. The additional fittings are for bodice sculpting, drape testing on camera, and ensuring real-life comfort across long ceremonies.
Do you stitch lehengas above UK 24 / Indian XXXL?
Yes. We have stitched bridal lehengas up to UK 32 / 5XL with custom corset construction, reinforced kali stitching and bespoke dupatta lengths. Larger sizes simply require slightly longer lead times — typically 16–22 weeks for bespoke bridal.
